Children's Day
The teachers and children remembered Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister. There was excitement in the air, and the young were full of stories about their special day at school.
The students of Class 1 and 2 enjoyed the mini-fair with activities like games (ring the object), different rides, face painting, a magic show, and a photo studio wherein students used other props and got their photographs clicked.
The students of Class 3 to 5 had a lovely surprise to begin their day, as each one received personal messages from their teachers. They continued to enjoy themselves with a particular class on glass painting with their art teachers. The excitement continued with a plethora of relay races such as the sack race, lemon and spoon race and filling the bottle race. Their eventful day ended with students watching the movie ‘Sindbad-The Legend of Seven Seas’ while munching on popcorn and savouring the candy floss, cakes and juice amidst plenty of laughter.
Welcome Day
Students entered their school with mixed feelings of excitement and fear. To warmly welcome all students, we are organizing a Welcome Day. The programme took place on 7th June 2017.
We welcomed the students with flowers, and their classrooms were decorated to receive them. We conducted certain cultural activities for the newcomers, which seniors put up as a welcome gesture. The teachers gave all the children a rose as they entered the school premises. A photo session was arranged that day.
